Product Details
This adorable penguin has been designed to be easy to knit and suitable for beginners. Knitted flat, the pattern is easy to follow with plenty of pictures to help understand the shape of parts, and putting them together. After a new arrival in our wider family, I was motivated to make a soft toy as a gift. I enjoyed it so much that I made a few more soft toy gifts. I enjoyed this so much that I started designing some myself! I wanted to create something that allowed a child to use their imagination and so I based the animals on a simple shape. These animals make a wonderful gift for any newborn, child, loved one, friend or maybe just for yourself!
The finished height of The Penguin using Sport/DK Light yarn and 3.25-3.5mm needles is 11cm.
The techniques required to knit The Penguin include knit and purl, casting on and off, simple increase and decrease, and seaming.
