Product Details
This top-down, boot or knee sock in five sizes (XS/S/M/L/XL) features the deep ribbing and horizontal knit/purl motifs of a classic gansey sweater. Shaping throughout the upper leg is adjustable to ensure a proper fit. Easy-to-work motifs make this project a good traveler that is readily converted to toe-up construction. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and elasticity.
Sample shown is knit in Bare Naked Wools Ghillie. Substitute yarns are suggested below.
Pattern includes instructions for boot sock and knee sock height, with notes about converting to crew sock. size shown is the middle size.
