Product Details
Hollyhock Scarf’s shape couldn’t be simpler, as it is a big rectangle knitted in stockinette stitch and framed with garter stitch, but all the fun resides in its stitch patterns. It elegantly combines two different Fair Isle patterns, a simple lace stitch and long sections of plain stockinette, perfectly suited for a fun variegated yarn. The pattern calls for 3 colors of fingering weight yarn, and includes instructions to make it as long and as large as you desire, to accommodate your own preferences in size, yarn weight and yardage.
Yarn, Yardage and Dimensions Scarf is adaptable in width and length. Yardage and gauge can vary to fit your preferences.
You will need: 3 colors of fingering weight yarn Color A: 420 yds Color B: 320 yds Color C: 170 yds
The prototype was made using Julie Asselin Leizu Fingering, colorways: Keep Me (A), Ardoise (B), Ale (C). It measures 70” (178 cm) long x 11” (28 cm) wide.
