A warm and cozy baby bonnet designed to coordinate with the Hodge baby booties from designer Kkfrog. Suitable for a baby boy or girl, the bonnet together with the booties make a wonderful baby shower gift, knit up quickly, and together use only about one 50-gram ball of sport weight yarn. A tightly spun cable plied sport weight yarn such as MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino, Louet Gems Sport, or Cascade Longwood Sport work well. The wide stockinette brim folds over a section of 1 x 1 ribbing and is wonderfully cushiony, just what you want to have snuggling around your baby's face on a cold winter day. With the designer's permission, the bonnet pattern includes a link to the Hodge baby booties pattern.
