This little hippo and his friends would like to spend Christmas with anyone who wants a hippopotamus for Christmas.
He/she can be made with any festive yarn you might have on hand and smaller or larger needles as required - the result is a smaller or larger hippo.
My rule of thumb for yarns and needle sizes is to go down at least one size smaller than indicated on the yarn sleeve; a tighter knit is preferable for a stuffed toy.
