I created this romantic “Hearts” cowl some time ago, when I was experimenting with the tapestry technique and written motifs on crochet works. I combined the design with the practicity and cosiness of a granny square cowl: what’s better to keep our throats warm in winter? I still use it myself! As usual, the pattern is easy and totally adaptable. Enjoy!
FINISHED SIZE: 66 cm (20”) circumference, 21 cm (9”) height, approximately. YARN: about 155 g (5,5 oz) / 319 mt (349 yds) of medium worsted yarn of your choice and colours, provided it can be worked with the given hook size. HOOKS: 6 mm hook (4, J/10). NOTIONS: Crochet basics: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, working in rows, clr. change, joining. The tapestry technique will be explained in this pattern. SKILL LEVEL: Easy.
