As an experienced knitter and crocheter of over 60 decades, I'm familiar with Hayfield Bonus Aran. I have usually found it to be a good quality despite its budget price. However this last purchase is disappointing. I would not call this Aran, it's more like DK. It's thin and wthout substance. The colour is good, but not quite as dark as I would have liked, however I'm aware that ths is often due to computer screens inability to show true colours. The yarn is soft and has, so far, been free of knots. In order the achieve the finish I wanted for the garment I was making, I had to drop my hook size and increase the number of stitches. This is not something I would recommend a few beginner to do.

True to colour, soft texture. Ideal for crochet and knitted animals. would recommend and use again.
