This fun Happy Hummingbirds blanket uses the overlay mosaic crochet method to create a lush, soft blanket with rich details, perfect for snuggling under during a cool spring evening or to give as a lovely gift to a lucky recipient. (great Mother's day gift of housewarming present!)
This design uses the overlay mosaic crochet method, with a bit of tapestry crochet for the color changes. However you could do just 2 colors if you want to keep it simple. Pattern includes row by row written instructions in US term & fully colorized & marked charts.
Using a 5mm hook & medium weight #4 yarn, the main example blanket took 4208.2 yards of yarn.
Of course any yarn can be used, but be sure to use recommended hook size for that yarn and be sure all your yarn colors are the same yarn weight.
