There are no star ratings for this product as this pattern is not fit for purpose in its current form and should be withdrawn. None of the materials required are correct. The specified yarn is Aran weight and the needles 3.5mm which is completely unsuitable for knitting Aran weight yarn. I brought this to the attention of Lovecrafts who in turn made the designer aware. The designer responded that the yarn should specify DK but does not acknowledge that DK would be knit on 4mm needles which would affect the Measurements of the garment and the amount of yarn required. It is unknown for which weight yarn the pattern has been written, and likewise to which weight yarn the number of balls required relate. The specified Materials required are incorrect throughout therefore so are the Measurements. The Hanefjed womens version pattern is therefore unusable in its current form and should be withdrawn until it is corrected, trial-knit and and represented as such. Purchases of this pattern should be refunded as it is unfit for purpose.
