A top-down triangular shawl worked up in 2 skeins of Baah! La Jolla fingering-weight yarn, Florin begins at the center top point with a garter tab and is worked top down, with 6 increases every 2 rows for a wider wingspan than traditional triangular knit shawls.
The triangle begins with a simple eyelet and garter ridge pattern in the main body to the border, where lateral braids are worked within an updated shale lace motif, ending with a simple bind-off on the wrong side.
Instructions are given in both chart and written form.
Additional instructions are also provided for how to modify the Border section if you'd like to work a different number of Main Body repeats than specified in the original pattern, allowing you to customize your shawl to your preferences.
