Product Details
This beautiful wrap features a wonderful eyelet-basketweave pattern which alternates with a matching wide ribbing that grows seamlessly in and out of the tips of the shawl.
Alternatively, it can also be worked as an allover basketweave pattern with ribbed tips.
I made my original sample with a fingering weight held together with a fluffy lace weight yarn to achieve a dk-worsted weight gauge, but the pattern provides lots of options for easy adjustments if you wish to use a different yarn weight or make a smaller/ larger shawl according to the available yardage.
Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.
I hope you enjoy the pattern!
Yarns used for sample:
1) Samelin Dyeworks Silky Singles (fingering weight), 1.7 balls used (170 g = 680 m / 743 yd) in colour Magnolia.
2) Austermann Cashmere Cloud (fluffy lace weight), 3.8 balls used (95 g = 684 m / 749 yd) in colour 0004 Mauve.
