This pattern is the KID’S edition of the pattern which includes instructions for a children’s hat to fit heads measuring 16/18/20 inches in circumference.
For this pattern, it is best that you are familiar with knitting in the round. Double pointed needles are used here, but can be substituted for circular needles if that works better for you.

1x 100g Super chunky yarn
another small ball for the pom
10mm (US size 15) double pointed needles
Pom maker (small and large depending on hat size made)
