This is the young child size version of my son’s mittens. They were designed to be easy to put-on (and after an adult buttons them), not so easy to take-off…It is always difficult to get mittens on my 1.5 year old!
The finished size of the full mitten (including the cuff) is 7-inches length/4-inches width. The cuff makes up 2.5 inches of the length.
This is a simple pattern, almost completely done in one piece. You may have to stitch once, or twice, at the base of the thumb to close a small gap formed between the thumb and index finger but the rest of the mitten is very solid in form and warm.
