Start your own undersea collection with a cuddly cube octopus! The pattern is written in US crochet terms and includes instruction for crocheting all the components and assembling the finished octopus.
This happy little cephalopod is worked in the round and uses the following techniques:
- single crochet (increasing and decreasing)
- back post single crochet (decreasing)
- amigurumi/plushie construction (basic)
The pattern can be worked in any yarn (with the appropriate hook size). If working in the suggested yarns your octopus will...
- ...be approximately 7" /18cm from the top of the head to the tip of the tentacle.
- ...need 200yds for the main body , 25yds for the suckers and 8yds for the eyes (as well as a few scraps of black fabric and some embroidery thread).
