Ribbed branches and clear meandering lines create a graphic interplay on this large and cosy shawl.
This wrap features a combination of ribbing and travelling lines that look wonderful on both sides. So, there is no real “wrong side” and it can be worn with either side showing, which makes it really easy to wear!
It is worked sideways from tip to tip as an elongated ellipse-like shape and the pattern is adjustable to the yardage you have available or your desired size if you prefer to make a smaller/larger shawl. I hope you enjoy the pattern!
Length: 269 cm/106” Width at centre: 68.5 cm/27” Adjustable to your liking or the yardage you have available. Designed for a fingering weight yarn plus a Suri lace weight yarn worked held together.
Needles: 5 mm/US 8
Yarn: The original sample used Woolissime Yarns Inés (2.9 skeins = 290g = 1061 m/1160 yds) + Suri (3.42 skeins = 171g = 1026 m/1122 yds).
