Caribe is an easy poncho. Worked with basic shapes and beginner-friendly stitches, it can be used as a poncho or a cover-up in summer, on the beach.
Stitches used: stockinette stitch.
Gauge: 21 sts x 30 rows in stockinette st: 10x10 cm (4x4 inches) on the diagonal or 24 rows along the height of the triangle (the centre of the shawl)
