Knit a cuddly chunky monkey toy with big ears.
This knitting pattern gives you step-by-step instructions to knit your monkey in any colour stripes you like, and you'll only need 4mm straight knitting needles, a darning needle, two colours of DK yarn, a scrap of grey yarn for the features and some toy stuffing.
For the yarn we recommend: King Cole Big Value Baby DK yarn in PEACH (4066). You’ll need approx one and a quarter of their 50g balls (or any other peach colour DK yarn you like) A small ball of contrasting colour DK yarn for the stripes (for the pink we recommend Sirdar's Hayfield Bonus DK 992 but any Dk yarn will work) one 25g King Cole Dollymix DK yarn ball is more than enough yarn for example. Marriner DK Midget 25g is also the right size. Knitted flat on 4mm straight knitting needles, this pattern is aimed at confident beginners to intermediate knitters.
Monkey measures 34cm tall when finished.
