Materials The sample is shown in Sirdar Denim Tweed DK (now discontinued) Shade 656 Aspen Blue (90 m/99 yd per ball). A suggested substitute is shown below. Pair of no 3.25 mm needles (UK/Canada/Aus size 10 - US Size 3) Pair of no 4 mm needles (UK/Canada/Aus size 8 - US Size 6) 6 large Buttons and 3 meters (3 yards) of 1 cm (½ in) wide ribbon (optional)
To Substitute Yarn Use yarn that knits to tension (gauge) of 22 sts and 28 rows/10 cm, worked over st st on 4 mm needles (US/Canada 6/UK8)
