**About The Design:**This cardigan is like a breath of spring - almost lighter than air, as it is knit at a loose gauge. It is the perfect coverup for a spring day or a cool summer evening.
La Gran mohair yarn is an ideal yarn choice for the sweater, as the brushed mohair fills in the stitches just enough to soften the loose gauge, and the yarn’s strength ensures that the fabric will wear well.
For a smoother look, try Lily Chin’s Tribeca – this is my personal favorite!
Gauge: 9 sts and 14 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st, with size 13 ndls or size to give gauge. To save time, take time to check gauge
Note: The gauge is loose for the sampled yarns, to create a lace-like effect and a lightweight garment. This allows the fabric to stretch or hang to a variety of widths and lengths. The motifs also encourage the garment to drape.
Substitute Yarn Weight: Chunky for MC and Heavy Worsted for CC
