Having been asked many times if my original pattern Bluebell baby blanket in double knit yarn can be knitted in a thicker yarn I decided to re write the pattern. This version has added eyelets for ribbon and is knitted using Aran weight yarn for Autumn/Fall/Winter babies who need a blanket that is a little bit warmer
If you prefer using double knit yarn change to 5mm or even 4.5mm knitting needles, the blanket will be a touch smaller.
