Product Details
Big 3 cushion covers – 3 different stitches. Superchunky/superbulky yarn makes for an up-to-date and super-quick knit. Either display the buttons or turn them round for textured chunky knitting. These are envelope cushion covers to enable easy insertion of the cushions.
This pattern is intermediate, as the skills you need to know are - how to cast/bind on and off, knit, purl, combinations of knit and purl, and making buttonholes. Line by line clear instructions in English, with British and American terms, make this easy. An 'easy' final rib section without buttonholes is also available.
The recommended yarn is James C Brett Rustic Megachunky. Other megachunky/megabulky yarns that knit up on 12mm needles should be okay.
To fit cushions 42x42cm/16.5x16.5in. (Slightly smaller or larger cushions should be suitable, but the cover will be looser or tighter than shown in the photos.)
Covers actually measure- 38x38cm/15x15in, (negative ease of approx 4cm/1.5in both ways).
