Beekeeper Afghan

The Beekeeper Afghan is made up of hexagons and right & left half-hexagons (to fill in the gaps at the sides). Motifs are worked entirely using half double slip stitch (hdsl) & edged with single crochet. They are sewn together with a yarn needle using whip stitch to create this strikingly beautiful design.

Skill Level: Intermediate; Stitches used include ch, sl st, sc, hdsl

Finished Size: You may make this afghan to any size. Sample measured approx. 42” x 54” – (an oversized lapghan); 8 hexagons wide x 10 rows tall. Each finished hexagon measured approx. 4.5” wide. You may work to your own gauge.
