An oversized cozy cardigan that so cute and adorable. And this is also a great way to use those small balls of leftover yarns into a cozy cardigan for our beloved doll. The design has functional buttonholes!
I actually made this sweater for my barbie doll. This sweater will also fit any 1:6 doll.
This pattern using simple stockinette and ribbing, working flat for the body and in the round for the sleeves, pick-up, basic decrease and increase, minimal seaming, and a small section of Kitchener’s stitch (garter).
I made this in one size only. If you want a bigger size, try experimenting with bigger yarn and needles.
Gauge: 17 stitches and 25 rows = 5 cm in stockinette using 2.5 mm
Yardage: 55 - 71 yards (50 - 65 m)
