Intermediate Beginner Level: If you know basic crochet stitches and can follow a pattern this is a very easy tutorial to follow. Involves -
SC - Single Crochet hdc - half double crochet dc - double crochet dec - work two stitches together sl st - slip stitch. *Patterns are written in American Crochet terms.
*Easy pattern: Full photo tutorial with color pictures to guide you through the process from start to finish.
To make the slippers you will need - 30yds lightweight Chunky/Bulky yarn for the soles and approx 65 yds Worsted (aran) medium weight cotton yarn for the uppers. 1 x 3.50mm crochet hook (USE/4) and 1 x darning needle to tidy ends away. 2 tiny buttons for the straps.

- I used a heavier worsted for the soles, and cotton worsted for the uppers. It seems to work well so that the soles are nice and chunky!
