Product Details
If you were to ask me which is my favourite sock design, I’d say.... it’s Alane. I love everything about these socks, the beautiful and elastic cuff edge, the eye-catching and engaging Celtic stitch pattern, the Spiral toe, and the Anatomical heel that follows the shape of the heel exactly. The other bonus of this kind of heel is that you don’t have to pick up any stitches.
In this pattern, you can learn or practice how to cast on using the beautiful, flexible Channel Island Cast-on technique for 1x1 ribbing, and how to create the not-so-common Anatomical heel and Spiral toe. The toe is gathered at the end, so there is no need for any pesky Kitchener stitch.
