Make a fun and warm mermaid tail cocoon blanket with this easy-to-follow knitting pattern.
Not for total beginners, you would need to know stitches like slip-k-psso, kfb etc. Advanced beginners can look up the special stitches on YouTube and still confidently make the tail.
This pattern calls for Aran weight yarn and size 4.5mm 18-23 inch round knitting needles. You'll need about 1400-1700 yards of yarn in total.
The adult size S should fit a person with hip circumference of 34 inches, size M is for 39 inches, size L for 45 inches. The length of the tail is adjustable.
