A Little Unexpected has a few unexpected features that will delight any knitter. It is a very versatile design that allows you to style the hat several ways. The design features cables with a little twist that allows them to pop on the stockinette background just as well as it normally happens on the reverse stockinette background.
YARDAGE AND SIZE INFO You will need 1 skein of dk or worsted yarn that has:
- Regular Brim: ~160 yds/146 m.
- Folded Brim: ~ 200 yds/183 m.
Hat will fit a head circumference of 21-23”/ 53.5-58.5 cm.
GAUGE 20 sts and 26 rows in stockinette per /4x4 inches/10x10 cm on US #6/4.0 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
NOTIONS US #4/3.5 mm circular needles (16” /40 cm); US #6/4.0 mm circular needles (16” /40 cm and dpns) or size needed to obtain gauge; Cable needle; 1 stitch marker; 3 mm crochet hook or darning needle.
