To fit a 14 cm/5½-inch tall dolls house doll
This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting
Historical Note: These Mondrian style dresses made predominantly in black and white with a splash of red, yellow or blue were very popular during the 1960’s.
Materials required: 1 pair size 19 (1.00 mm) knitting needles; 2 stitch holders or safety pins; 25metres/28 yards 1-ply yarn in each of black and white; plus 5 metres/6 yards 1-ply yarn in red and 1 small black button or bead.
Approximate finished size Waist – 3 cm/1¼-inches; Neck to hem – 6.5 cm/2¾-inches; width across hem – 4 cm/1½-inches
Gauge: This is not important as dolls house dolls like humans vary in size
