This fabulous nappy cover takes nappy wearing to a whole new level. Fun to knit for the experienced knitter, crochet edging around the legs and a picot hem at the waist that allows an easy change of elastic as and when necessary.
Sizes: to fit ages 0-6 months (6-12 months). Materials: Sirdar Snuggly 4 ply: 1(1) x 50 g ball [226 m/247 yds]; pair 3¼ mm needles; 2½ mm crochet hook; waist length elastic. Tension: 28 sts and 36 rows to 10 cm over stocking stitch using 3¼ mm needles.
Can also be made in Sirdar Cotton 4ply (in which case two pairs of the smaller size can easily come out of one ball!)
