    About

    I was curious to see if I could make a short sleeved version of this pattern and let the design evolve as a I went along. What I ended up with was a great t-shirt with a retro vibe. The sleeves were a challenge, but way easier that they look, a simple combination of colours and stitch sequencing!

    I will write up the process for making this variation and add it ot the parttern.

    • Single Point 5.50mm (US 9) 33cm

    Other : I didn't use any accessories, but I did use up some of my stash of oddments of this yarn having made a lot of different things with it this year. i used 5 colours in total for the sleeve.

    Notes: I knitted the second size of the pattern exactly to the instructions in terms of stitch count. It came up slightly smaller than the original cardigan, but it actually worked as a t-shirt. i liked the fit, lose enough not to cling but snug enough to skim my frame.
