I wanted a woolly theme for Christmas and had time and a stash of wool. I've never done anything like this before, mainly gloves and jumpers in the past.
I was very pleased with the result, even if they're a bit wobbly, and it's caused endless amusement for friends and family. They came out a lot bigger and not as cute and chubby as the original pattern but I had a complete mix of yarns and probably the wrong needle sizes for the yarns. The pattern is very clear and easy to follow so, if you do what is recommended, it should work fine
