    About

My sister kindly paid for good quality yarn, as a Christmas gift.

This came up small (see measurements) and I actually only used 9 of the 12 balls of yarn. 11 or 12 would probably have been about right at the correct tension.

The pattern is not as easy to follow as it might have been. It is written with the logic and construction that the designer would have followed in designing this garment. It might have benefitted from a rewrite to make it easier to follow by the user.

Knitting with two circular needles at once was a new technique for me. It worked but seemed quite cumbersome at times.

    Accessories

    TEST YOUR TENSION/GAUGE!
I found this came up very small. It's knitted in the round predominantly in reverse stockinette stitch (purl on the right side) , so I guess I purl much tighter than I knit. I blocked the jumper once completed, and settled for a snugger fit than the relaxed fit I had intended.
