    Finally got round to finishing this shawl which I started during the first lockdown. I thought ‘positive thoughts’ were what I should be channelling. 😂 I soon discovered that making toys was much more fun, but I can’t bear leaving things unfinished so I finally got round to completing it.

      Your shawl is beautiful Helen and I love the colours of that wool.😊Well I enjoy making toys too but don't ask me tonight when the sewing up isn't going well.lol.😉😉

        Thank you Michelle. I have trouble with sewing up the toys and try to just do a little bit at a time. Trouble is sometimes I get impatient and that’s when it invariably goes wrong. 😅

        Thank you Sue. Yes I’ve really got the bug for the Animal Friends at the moment. I usually like making shawls, but wasn’t really that happy with this one. The self striping yarn doesn’t really allow the pretty lace pattern to show up well. So I will have to make another one sometime I guess! 😂

        @Sue C: Thanks Sue. There’s quite a lot of work in each toy and a lot of fiddly sewing up. I just have to take my time.
