Saw this on Pinterest and absolutely had to try it! It was challenging to make the Catherine Wheel stitch diamond shaped consistently but I am happy with the results! The yarn I used is wonderful!! It gave the blanket a very soft, snuggly cushiony feel!

Measurements

Notes: I used a starting chain of 113 [(8 x 14) + 1] but it turned out smaller than I wanted, only 26 inches wide and 32 inches long.
The pattern is called Harlequin Blanket by Daisy Farm Crafts and I used colors based on a design by Kelly Martinelli.
