    About

I had these in my stash, I found them on the clearance rack of my local JoAnn store a few years ago, loving the softness and squishy feel to the yarn with no use in mind when purchased all the available colors. Later on I found the remarkable gingham pattern and knew this would look so good. Well much to my dismay I failed to read the pattern thoroughly before starting and failed to see I need 2 times the amount of the lighter color yarn for a proper gingham effect. I completed about 3/4 of the blanket (2nd pic)and ran out of the TuTu color. Thinking I could find more I went to the internet only to find it was not available anywhere at all, I asked my sister to check on Ravelry Stash for sale and there was none to be had. My lesson learned. I frogged the entire blanket and started over using the darker color in place of the lighter one as I had 6 skeins of the Rosebud. Well the finished product is not quiet gingham (3rd pic), it is more checkered. I still love it though:)
