    About

My first attempt at brioche knitting. The hat is super stretchy and comfy. It’s a slouchy hat for me or a regular fit for hubby. I found the brioche decreases at the top quite challenging and made use of the threaded in lifeline for a second try. The tension is too loose at the decreases. For better tension next time I will try keeping the decreases in the middle of the rows rather than at needle transfer points. There’s also a spot in the decreases where I just soldiered on in spite of the jumble, but in the end it’s not too noticeable.
