    Finally I have finished my second Christmas stocking - Pixie. I have admired all the Christmas Stockings made recently and earlier.
    My inspiration to make mine was another crafter who used alternative ply and needle sizes using up mostly stash I think.
    So my intention to copy her lead doing similar.
    pixie stocking is made using 2 strand DK in green and variegated yellow obtained using a warm ocra and yellow - needles size 4.5mm.
    pixie DK (1) strand needles size 3mm - would use 3.25/3.5 next time 🤔
    Stash used throuhout 😍

        They really are Mary 😍 I just didn’t have the recommended Aran yarn so had to think about ply of yarn and needle size. 😂 The lovely crafters on here guided my choices. The heads are really characterful I really want to make more too 🥰😍💕

      Great stockings Maria and very good idea to use your stash wool! I do like the effect of the elf's stocking - gives it a nice gold colour! I find the stockings a good knit while watching TV! 🎄🎅

        Thank you Valerie seeing so many colour variations from others that all look good I thought what can I come up with from my stash. I’m glad you like the colour it does give gold look I didn’t put my finger on 😂 and yes I agree big sections of stocking are a comfortable tv knit 😂👀🥰💕
