I had to adapt the pattern and knit the sleeves first as they use the circular needle. Then knit the main body and add on the sleeves to the circular needle. I had to use more than 400g for the small size even though the tension was correct however I did use Rico merino wool for this jumper. The pattern was easier to follow than I thought despite the translation. And my daughter is delighted with the result. I would make it again but would use a different brand of wool next time as every ball had one or more knots in it and I felt this spoilt the final look of the jumper.
