I definitely recommend this fabulous yarn. Beautiful lace weight yarn in an array of fabulous colours which knits up into the most delicate of cardigans , it weighs almost nothing - like gossamer. I have made one previously and love the look so much over sun dresses that I have bought 3 different colours, plus one for a friends birthday for cool summer evenings. It is a little more expensive so I usually wait until Lovecrafts have their special offers on 😉. It can be a bit tricky if you have to pull any work back as the mohair weaves itself into the rest of the yarn, but if you have patience and a small bodkin or tapestry needle its easier to tease the yarn apart. Occasionally I have had to carefully snip the hairs apart with the points of my little scissors. For a quality, beautiful look it is well worth all the effort put in. It hand washes well too in cool water. I give it a quick, gentle spin in the washer and lay out flat on a towel to dry. I’ve not experienced any problems and it keeps its shape well, looking like new again. Great for summer holiday packing for those breezy evenings sitting outside..

Lovely soft yarn, easy to knit with but would advise checking tension. Price was excellent.

Beautiful yarn, expensive but worth it

Rowan Kid Silk has is one of my favorite yarns. The texture is soft, fluffy, but not too fluffy. It comes in a variety of colors. It is great in sweaters when knit double or when used with another yarn. It is also great knit in a single strand for something like a shawl. However, I find it difficult to work with in a single strand when making an item that needs to be seemed--very difficult to find the individual stitch in which to use to make an even and "accurate" seam.
