Pentagon Ball

This crochet Pentagon Ball is a fun rattle ball for babies and children. It’s made in 100% cotton and lined with fabric inside to make it safer to play with (and chew) it!

The ball is made in 3 parts: – First, we’ll crochet the solid pentagons; – Then, we’ll sew the lining for the ball, which will also prevent the stuffing from peeking through the stitches; – Finally, we’ll assemble the ball.

MATERIALS– 3.5-mm (E/4 US, 9 UK) Crochet Hook – DK (3, Light) Weight Yarn – Tapestry Needle For Stuffing & Lining: – Sewing Machine – Fabric, Thread – Stuffing – Rattle Ball – Compass, Ruler, Pencil, and Paper to draw your own pentagon pattern

YARNI used Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/6 (115 yds / 105 m per 50 g) but any comparable yarn will work.

SIZE– Large Ball – 6.5” (16.5 cm) in diameter – Small Ball – 5.5” (14 cm) in diameter
