Lovely colour yarn, feels nice am using it to crochet with find it splits so I have to go slower other then that it's nice. Probably better to knit with it.

I bought some wool and needle for crochet thinking they were for crochet. I turned out that the pattern for the hat I chose was for knitting so I perhaps bought the wrong wool (too thin) and the wrong sized needle. The pattern I eventually chose specified the wool required, but nowhere could I find that specification of wool to buy. Perhaps it did exist under another disguise. I get the feeling that everything is put in the way for a potential learner of crochet.
