    Notizen I worked hard to get the right tension and this comes up very small. It did not fit over the head as was far too small even with me adjusting the pattern at the neck and adding a button. Very disappointing.

      If anyone makes this add 2 buttons at the one side seam.

      Aw thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately I didn't trust my instinct and I sent it to my niece and my sister is too polite to send it back. I worked so hard on it as well.

      That is a shame the neck is too small, it looks a lovely colour poncho. Looking at the picture couldn't you unpick the neck and increase a few more stitches than it asks for, and put a button opening on both sides?
      It is Just a suggestion I expect you may have tried, but if not it may work. Shame for all your beautiful work to not be used,.
