Originally designed as a wedding gift for two dear friends and inspired by their love of sailing, Zephyr’s dynamic lines and graphic motifs lend a contemporary feel to a traditional eight-wedge doily. A knitted-on edging further updates the piece, eliminating any need for a crocheted bind-off or sewn border, as well as providing enough stretch for the doily to block out to its full potential. Directions are both written and charted. (Sample shown was knit with Knit Picks Curio in color Natural.)
