X Mitts

This super fun design came about from the desire to create a perfectly fitting as well as fully reversible pair of fingerless mittens.  Definitely no beginner’s project, but a pair of mitts you will cherish for a long time.

The X Mitts are your perfect chance of using up that super variegated yarn you’ve had in your stash for a while and pair it with a solid main color. Or choose two solids to make a more adult version.

Please pay attention to the extremely tight gauge - these mittens are meant to have quite a bit of negative ease. This way, they will fit “like a glove”, and you will be able to perform your normal tasks and movements without even noticing that you’re still wearing them.
