Winter Fun Mosaic Square - Gingerbread Man

This pattern is for a mosaic crochet square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square, as long as all the yarn colors are the same weight type of yarn. I used yarn weight type of 4 (worsted/aran) with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

You will need at least 2 colors of yarn - one for the background and one for the Gingerbread Man. The image has a 3rd color of Red for the border & buttons, and a small amount of white for the details. You need approx 1.9 oz of tan & brown, and about .5-1 of red. You only need a few yds of white.
