Chocks away chaps! Wing Commander Hastings is ready to take to the skies! This pilot is a “Wing Commander” (abbreviated to Wg Cdr), which is a senior commissioned rank in the British Royal Air Force. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the pilot is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round), and the helmet is finished with a crochet edging. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
