Windjammer is worked seamlessly from the top down. First the Back is worked to the underarm. Stitches for each Front are picked up from the Back cast-on and worked separately to shape the neck, then they are joined and worked to the underarm. The Front is joined with the Back and the Body is worked in the round to the hem. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round.
