This seamless top down sweater with slightly dropped shoulders and set-in sleeves has been specially designed for the Austrian Yarn Club.
In the tradition of classic winter garments, this sweater provides lots of warmth and texture with cables, garter stitch and extra cushy half-cardigan stitch sections.
For a modern spin, waist shaping is achieved by the way the pattern on the back is arranged.
Materials:
Malabrigo Yarn Rios (100% Merino): 100g/210 yards (192 meters) – 5 (5, 6, 6, [7, 7, 8], 8, 9, 9) skeins or approx. 930 (1000, 1090, 1190, [1290, 1390, 1500], 1610, 1720, 1830) yards 850 (914, 997, 1088, [1180, 1271, 1372], 1472, 1573, 1673) meters of any worsted weight yarn that knits up to gauge. The sample is knit in colorway “Sand Bank”.

18 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch with larger needles after blocking
