Warmer Shores Blanket

This is my Warmer Shores Baby Blanket.

Inspired by long sandy beaches and crystal blue seas blending into clear blue skies. The wonderful texture of the stitch gives a rippling ocean effect, along with the waves of joining colours.

A baby blanket full of ripples of love which grow into waves.

The pattern is in US and UK terminology (the pdf pattern supplied has the US version first followed by the UK version - so please check which version you are working from).

The beautiful pattern rows create such a pretty effect that this blanket doesn’t require a border.

4mm hook and DK yarn give an approximate finished blanket size of 30” by 34”. You can, of course, use a thicker yarn and larger hook for a larger blanket.

Only straightforward stitches are used in this pattern so I have classified it as an ‘Easy’ level. (Working into the back loop only is required for one row of the repeated pattern).
