This modern and eye catching rectangular wrap has beautiful fair isle and purl-knit texture and a lovely moss (seed) stitch border around the entire wrap.
The wrap is knitted flat with 5mm (8US) needles. It starts from a provisional cast on in the center of the wrap and knit outwards until the cast off end. Then the provisional cast on stitches are picked up and knit outwards so that the right and left sides of the wrap are identical.
The wrap is knit with worsted weight yarn, The Yarn Collective, Hudson Worsted, worsted weight (85% wool, 15% Yak), 100 grams/180meters (196 yards), balls in:
* 3 skeins (540 meters / 588 yards total) Natural (401) (Colour A) and,
* 3 skeins (540 meters / 588 yards total) Deep Water (410) (Colour B)
The blocked measurements of the shawl are width 18” (45.5cm) by length 65” (165cm).
The pattern includes a chart for the fair isle sections of the wrap.
